Saint-Paul-de-Vence
After leaving Nice, we continue to the artists' village hidden among the hills - Saint-Paul-de-Vence. This medieval city, surrounded by walls from the 14th century, was once known as the Royal City. More than 100 years ago, it became a real mecca for artists - young painters, sculptors and modern designers. The trend began when Picasso, Chagall or Matisse, as well as many others, came here in search of inspiration - you can easily understand why.
And today it is no different – many unknown artists find their home here, and you will not believe the combination they create: narrow medieval streets with galleries, studios and shop windows full of contemporary art. If you are interested in this direction, there is another: the largest collection of contemporary art in the world is also in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, in the venerable museum of the Meig Foundation.
Take a walk through the old town with your guide. You will have free time to visit the famous galleries of modern art. This city will remind you of medieval times, and the guide will tell you its amazing history.
Gurdon
In 20 minutes we will arrive in one of the highest towns in the region – the legendary Gourdon. The city of crystals and unforgettable views: from a platform located at an altitude of about 700 meters above sea level, you can see almost the entire road from Nice to Saint-Tropez. There is a 13th-century castle with towers divided in half – an incredible example of what the royal order achieved. A charming old town with industries creating wonderful objects similar to crystals – even Swarovski knows about the quality of this place.

Grasse
Then we head straight to Grasse, one of the most important places in the world perfume industry. It is the only place in the world where you can see how the process of extracting fragrances from flowers takes place. The history of perfume production and a factory outlet are also here to help you make the most of your trip. You might be interested to know what you will hear there...
Fragonard
At the famous Fragonard perfume factory (Parfumerie Fragonard) you will learn all the secrets of perfume production and visit a boutique where you will have the opportunity to purchase a new fragrance (not included in the price of the tour).
Cannes
Then we’ll head to the famous Cannes. Who hasn’t heard of it? Movie stars on the red carpet have captured the world’s attention every May since 1946. But Cannes offers more than just glamour. Explore the beautiful old town on the hill, the port full of large private yachts, the Esterel Mountains on the western side of the harbour, the chic La Croisette with its designer shops and elegant hotels – including the famous Carlton.
Imagine what Cannes would be like if Henry Brougham, the British Lord Chancellor, had not invented this place in the mid-19th century – see for yourself.
The guide will tell you the fascinating history of Cannes and the Lerins Islands. You will also have free time to see the Palais de la Festival, take photos on the famous red carpet or buy souvenirs.
At the end of the tour, the guide will take you to your hotel.
