Visit two luxurious villas built by the Rothschild family and stroll through the medieval hilltop village of Eze with its famous Fragonard perfume factory on this private full-day tour. Stroll through the palace and nine themed gardens designed by Béatrice de Rothschild, and enjoy panoramic views of the Bay of Beaulieu as you visit a replica of a 2nd-century Greek estate (Villa Kerylos).

The tour can start at a time convenient for you, but we recommend starting at 9 am or 1 pm.

Fortress of Mont-Alban

Our tour will start with a visit to the viewpoint at the fortress of Mont Alban where your guide will tell you about the bay of Villefranche-sur-Mer and the Baie des Anges. You will see magnificent views of the coast. To the east are Cap Ferrat, Cap d'Ail, Cape Bordighera and the mountain of the Head of the Dog. To the west is the Baie des Anges. Do not forget to take photos of this unforgettable place.

The medieval town of Eze

A guided walk through the old town awaits you. This medieval village is surrounded by a powerful defensive wall, cliffs and houses that look like they were carved into the rock. You will enjoy the picturesque garden of Eze, a paradise for plants with a magnificent view of the sea, the French Riviera and even Corsica. This town will remind you of medieval times, and your guide will tell you about its amazing history.

Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild

Our next stop is the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. It is located in a very picturesque place on Cap Ferrat. This Italian style palace was built in 1905 by Beatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild. With your guide and an excellent audio guide, you will visit this villa and appreciate the rare collection of almost 5,000 works of art (mosaics, Flemish tapestries, porcelain and furniture). The villa is surrounded by luxurious gardens with a breathtaking view of Villefranche on one side and Beaulieu on the other. You will have free time during which you can stroll through the magnificent gardens surrounding the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild and covering an area of 7 hectares.

Greek Villa Kerylos

Your guide will then take you to the Greek Villa Kerylos. You will visit an exact replica of an ancient Greek house, which was built in 1902 on a site resembling the Aegean coast. The construction was carried out by the archaeologist Theodor Reinach, who was very closely involved in the study of ancient Greek culture. You will be able to see the original exhibits along with copies and reproductions of furniture, frescoes, and in the Antique Gallery, built under the villa, you can admire copies of classical Greek statues.

At the end of the tour, the guide will take you to your hotel.
