Discover the highlights of Nice and enjoy a seamless way to explore with our private half-day tour. Meet your guide at a time and place that suits you, and board your comfortable vehicle. Our first stop will be in Cimiez, where you can see Queen Victoria's Winter Palace and explore the fascinating Roman ruins. We will then drive along the famous Promenade des Anglais, offering breathtaking views of the sea, before immersing ourselves in the charm of the Old Town. Our exploration will include a visit to Castle Hill and much more.

The tour can start at a time convenient for you, but we recommend starting at 9 am or 1 pm.

Garden of the Monastery of Cimiez

At the beginning of your journey you will find yourself in the historical part of Nice, called Cimiez. This place is famous not only for its monumental Winter Palace of the British Queen Victoria, but also for the nearby ruins of an ancient Roman city called Semenelum (1st century AD) - an archaeological site that tells you more about Nice from the beginning of our era, with surrounding olive groves. Next to them you will find museums of two famous artists: Matisse and Chagall. Such a wonderful combination of history and art in one place will certainly not leave you indifferent.

Church of St. Nicholas and St. Alexandra

Our next stop is the Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Nicholas, the largest Orthodox cathedral in Western Europe, opened in 1912 to serve the large Russian community that had settled in Nice by the end of the 19th century. Its Byzantine style and beautiful gardens around it tell you another story about the city and its connection to the times of the Tsars.

Promenade des Anglais

We then continue along the unique Promenade des Anglais, the famous boulevard along the Baie des Anges, between Nice Côte d'Azur Airport and its port of Lympia. Among the great hotels, we must not forget the magnificent Negresco, a true pearl of Belle Époque architecture. For more than a century and a half, this place has been a favorite place for walks or, more recently, for jogging, cycling or rollerblading.

Old town

We will then stop at the threshold of the Old Town, at the picturesque Place Masséna, next to the statue of Apollo. From there, you can enjoy a stroll in the heart of Old Nice. Must-see places include the Cours Saleya, an incredible flower market that turns into a Mediterranean food court in the evening, and the surrounding baroque streets near the Opera House, reflected in Matisse’s paintings, still proudly conveying the atmosphere of the Napoleonic era. Just a few steps away, you can see the Nice Cathedral of Sainte-Reparata, built in the 17th century, and hear the story of the mythical martyr, patroness of the cathedral. Then, the magnificent embodiment of Nice’s neoclassical heritage, the Chamber of Justice and the square with its charming fountain and souvenir boutiques around will attract your full attention.

Castle Hill of Nice

From the Old Town we will take you to Castle Hill, a place with views of the city and the Bay of Angels, which attracts tourists with its stunning waterfall and old Jewish cemetery.

Confectionery "Florian"

On the way back, you will not miss the opportunity to visit the real French confectionery "Florian" and learn the secrets of caramelizing fruits and dipping local flowers in delicious chocolate. At the end, our guide will bring you back to the place where you first met.

At the end of the tour, the guide will take you to your hotel.
